Ribble bring past-and-future sounds by chucking fiddle, guitar, concertina, drums and vocals into a big cauldron, along with gusto, mutated traditional group dances, a punky DIY spirit, banging dance beats and good-time songs — all conveyed through two actual humans playing live.

Since forming in 2020, Ribble have gone from casual busking to bringing joyful, stompy chaos to festivals including Boomtown, Victorious, Purbeck, Wickham, Rustic Stomp and Music at the Baa.

And if the end is nigh, Ribble will not go down fighting; Ribble will go down dancing and laughing in the face of it all.
